摘　　要：刹车鼓的失效原因属于热疲劳开裂,通过选择合适的化学成分来提高其热传导和增强组织的稳定性以提高其抗热疲劳性能,可以大幅度地提高刹车鼓的使用寿命。The failure of brake drum was caused by thermal fatigue cracking.By adopting proper chemical composition to improve its thermal conductivity and structure stability with the purpose to increase its heat-resistant fatigue property the working life of the brake drum could be largely pro-longed.
