摘 要:本文介绍了一种高性能W波段高频端Gunn管固态振荡器的研制工作,该振荡器为基波和二次谐波频率设计了一个公共波导振荡腔,基波频率低于W波导截止频率,很易于活塞和变容管调谐.由于采取了改进措施,机械调节频宽达100—115GHz,带内功率输出均大于5mW,最大输出可达18.5mW,改变Gunn管偏压获得的线性电调范围大于250MHz.振荡器频率高,功率输出大,频谱纯,已应用于紫金山天文台大型毫米波望远镜2.6mm渡段的锁相本振系统.A high performance, W-band 2nd harmonic Gunn oscrillator has been developed. Using a common waveguide cavity, designed for both the fundamental and the 2nd harmonic frequency, this oscillaotr is easily backshort and varactor tunable. By the reason of improving, mechnical tuning range is up to 15 GHz (100~115GHz), output power is great than 5mW over most of this frequency range, and maximumr output power is 18.5mW The linear electronic tuning range obtained by varing the bias voltage of the Gunn diode is great than 250 MHz. This VCO has high frequency, great output power and pure spectrum. It has been used in 2.6mm wave band phase-lock local system of large millimeter wave radio telescope of PMO.
