摘　　要：简要介绍了《中文核心期刊要目总览》的发展历史,比较详细地评述了其在学术期刊评价理论和评价方法方面取得的主要研究成果,分析了其存在的问题,并对下一版研究工作提出了新的设想。This paper gives a brief historical review on the compilation of A Guide to the Core Journa\ of China. It summarizes themajor efforts coming out of the compiling the three editions of the Guide as well as points out the problems of the research. Itfinally makes some suggestions on further compiling work of the new edition.
