摘 要:本文依据东海陆架北部 2 3个表层沉积物样品的粒度分析资料 ,就东海陆架北部表层细粒级沉积物的级配及意义进行了研究。结果表明 ,研究区表层沉积物中细粒级部分以 <0 .0 16 mm为优势粒级 ,可占到总细粒级沉积物的 75 %以上。济州岛西南泥质区以细于 0 .0 0 8mm粒级的沉积物占据优势 ,长江口泥质区则以 <0 .0 16 mm粒级的沉积物为主 。The fine grained surface sediments are the fraction of the surface sediments with a diameter less than 0.063mm. The grain sizes of 23 surface sediment samples taken from the northern East China Sea (ECS) shelf were analyzed, and the distributions of the fine grained fractions in surface sediments on the northern ECS shelf were studied. The results indicate that the major part of the fine grained fraction of surface sediments on the northern ECS shelf is less than 0.016mm in diameter, being more than 75% of the total fine grained surface sediments. The mud areas of the ECS are the sinks of the fine grained sediments. The surface sediments in the southwest Cheju Island mud area is finer than that in the mud area near the Changjiang Estuary. The chief fraction of the fine grained sediments in the southwest Cheju Island mud area is less than 0.008mm in diameter, and the chief part of the fine grained sediments of the mud area near the Changjiang Estuary is less than 0.016mm in diameter. The distributions of fine grained fractions of surface sediments in the two mud areas are obviously different.
