摘　　要：Kumho Tire Group of Korea would es-tablish its global R/D center in TianjinDevelopment Zone scheduled to startup in 2007.Recently the Administrative Commis-sion of Tianjin Development Zone andthe research institute of Kumho Tirereached a memorandum of investment.The project would be separated into twostages for investment and construction.Around US$30 million was already in-jected in the early 2005 for the first stagewith a land of 22000 m^2.The R/D centerwould provide technological and re-search service for Kumho’s
