摘　　要：Qingdao Hygain Chemical (Group) Co., Ltd.announced on February 20th that it set upa joint venture -Aral Qingsong Chemical Co., Ltd.with Nongl shi of Xinjiang Bingtuan toconstruct a 300 000 t/a caustic soda project in Xinjiang region of western China.The joint venture will invest RMB1.6 billion in this project that uses salt rocks asraw materials.A calcium carbide based polyvinyl chloride project is also in the planning.
