摘　　要：Polysilicon prices fell straightly worldwide, representing that the emergingindustry entered the cost competition stage. Reducing cost is essential forexisting polysilicon manufacturers to survive. LXE Solar commented onthe Summit of Resource Utilization Technologies for Silicon Tetrachloridein Beijing April 13th-14th that using hydrochlorination method to treatsilicon tetrachloride (STC) can effectively reduce the production cost ofpolysilicon and help to strengthen competitiveness.
