摘　　要：The economic situation in China’s petroleumand chemical industry maintained ingood shape in April,as its production valueand output for major petrochemicals keptrising fast.Also,foreign trade rose in a fasterpace; production and sales were strong inthe markets while prices remained stable orwent higher; and investment in the petrochemicalindustry showed stable growth,according to the report by the China Petroleumand Chemical Industry Federation.
