摘　　要：Sinopec Corp is progressing with its coal-to-olefins project in Hebi, Henan province.An agreement was signed on August 10th by Sinopec Corp and Hebi Municipal Governmentto advance the mega coal chemicals plant.Sinopec Corp.decides to invest RMB15 billion in the Hebi coal-to-olefins project,with a capacity of 1.8 million tons of methanol-to-olefins per year.The company plans to complete the feasibility study report of the coal based chemicalsproject before November 2010.The proposed plant is subject to approval by the Chinese authorities.
