摘　　要：Bio-pesticides use organisms or their metabolitesto control harmful animals and plants orto reduce the extent of their hazards.Comparedwith chemical pesticides,bio-pesticideshave the following advantages.First,they arehighly selective and are safe to humans andlivestock.Bio-pesticides that are now widelyused act only on pests and are relatively safeto humans,livestock and aquatic organisms.Second,they have small environmental impactsand are relatively safe to theenvironment.The active ingredients of biopesticidesare derived from natural ecosystemsand can easily be decomposed
