CNOOC Develops Coal-Based Clean Energy with Shanxi Province

摘　　要：China National Offshore Oil Corp.(CNOOC) signed a framework agreementwith the Shanxi provincial government on September 15th to cooperate in thedevelopment of coal-based clean energy.The two parties will work togetherto advance the development of coal-to-natural gas projects and other newenergy industries.Under the agreement,signed in Taiyuan,Shanxi’s capital city,CNOOC andShanxi government will cooperate in coal-to-gas projects and affiliated gaspipeline projects,coal-power-chemical-gas co-production projects,coal-bedmethane exploration and utilization,ammonia and urea projects as well assome circular economy projects like wind and solar power projects.
