《世说新语》书名考论

摘　　要：《世说新语》是在中国文化史上占有重要地位的一部著作。但其书名多而杂,哪一个是原书名,学界并无定论。通过史书及其它相关资料考证,刘义庆著作时的原书名当为《世说》,《世说新书》和《世说新语》皆为后起。通过《世说》与"说"体文二者之间的关系分析,文章解释了刘义庆以"世说"名书的合理性。此外,通过与刘向《世说》相比较,揭示了刘向《世说》即刘义庆《世说》之书名、体例和旨趣的历史渊源。Shishuoxinyu is a work that occupies an important position in the Chinese cultural history. But its titles are many and miscellaneous, which is the original one that the academic circles have not a answer. Through the research on the historical records and related data, the article thought tends to venfy prove that the original title of the book was Shishuo, Shishuoxinshu and Shishuoxinyu appeared later. By analysising the relationship of between Shishuo and argumentation the author explained the rationality the book with the title' Shishuo'. In addition, by comparing Liu Xiang's Shishuo, the author pointed out that the history origin of the title , the style the aim of Liu Yi-qing's book is Liu Xiang's Shishuo.
