摘　　要：生物多样性是人类社会赖以生存和发展的基础,它不仅提供了人类生存不可缺少的生物资源,也构成了人类生存与发展的生物圈环境。生物多样性系指地球上所有动物、植物、微生物的物种多样性和它们的遗传及变异多样性。众多的生物及其生存环境构成了一个相互联系、相互依赖的有机整体。人类作为这个有机整体的组成部分之一,其生存与其它物种的生存息息相关,如果其它物种从地球上消失的话,人类也将无法生存下去。保护生物多样性,保证生物资源的永续利用是一项全球性的任务,也是实现可持续发展战略的重要组成部分。Biodiversity is the base of living and development for humanity. It provides living resources and biosphere environment for mankind. Biodiversity consists of species diversity of all animals, plants and microorganisms on the earth, their genetic diversity and ecosystem diversity. All living things and living environment form an organic entirety in which every part is related to and is dependented on other parts. Human being is one part of the entirety and its existence is closely linked to other living species. If other species disappear, mankind could not be existed. It is a global task to protect biodiversity and to ensure sustainable utilization of living resources. It is an important part to realize sustainable development strategies.
