摘　　要：叙述了双峰聚乙烯在电缆护套上的应用。作为一种新型材料 ,它集优秀的加工性能与良好的机械性能于一体 ,同时优异的抗收缩性、耐磨性及耐候性 ,使之非常适合作为通信电缆和光缆护套材料 。This paper presents the aplication of bimodal PE in cable sheath. As a new kind of material, bimodal PE combines the excellent process properties and good mechanical properties. Besides, it has excellent shrink resistance, abrasion resistance and weather resistance, which make in an ideal material for sheathing communication cables and optical fiber cables. Bimodal PE has a bright future.
