摘　　要：从地方志的历史渊源、本身特点,论述了地方志在历史研究特别是在中国近代史研究中的作用和重大意义以及使用方志资料时应注意的问题。The author begins with the origin of local chronicles and their own characteristics,expounds the functions and significance of local chronicles in the historical research,especially. in modern history research and points out some instructions in using the local chronicles.
