摘　　要：The developing trends and characterisitics of modern steel making technology have been analyzed in this paper.Accordingly,the optimization orientation of refractory materials to adapt the developing trends is stated.Furthermore,a point of view that rfractories shoud advance alog the dirction of "longer serice life,non-pollution multi-function" is put forward.
