摘　　要：以汉口原租界区的历史街区更新为实例 ,探讨新世纪旧城保护与更新的模式 .通过保护地方性、历史性建筑环境特色 ,延续历史街区的风貌 .研究历史街区中的建筑形态、城市环境、建筑文化三者间的有机联系 。Through a case study on traditional urban blocks in Hankou's pre_colonial area, the urban conservation and renewal modes for the new generation of old urban areas are explored. It recommends to extend traditional blocks' style and features through conserving their local fabric, cultural significance and architectural characters. Finally, after carefully researching on the organic relationships among architectural forms, urban environment and architectural culture, the harmony and consistence between the conservation of traditional urban blocks and the sustainable development of urban construction, will be sought for.
