摘  要:考虑北极星周日视运动过程中高度和方位随时间变化的对称性,采用临界表的形式减少内差次数,建立一个新的北极星方位和测者纬度改正量表,达到简化计算和优化表册的目的.该表只需一页A4纸大小,从篇幅上看是中文版《航海天文历》中同类表的1/4,是英文版《航海天文历》中同类表的1/3,而且其精度基本不变,满足观测北极星定位和测罗经差精度的要求.A new set of Polaris tables designed for determining latitude from sextant altitude and for the Polaris's azimuth is established. The symmetry of the Polaris's altitude and azimuth in its diurnal apparent motion is considered. A critical form in the tables is adopted to reduce the interpolation times. So it will arrive the objective to simplify the calculations and to optimize the Polaris tables. It has used only one piece of A4 paper, which is one quarter of the Chinese edition of Nautical Almanac' s and is one third of the English edition's. The precision using new designed tables remains almost unchanged, which meets and satisfies the accuracy requirement of celestial fixing and obtaining compass error through Polaris.
