摘　　要：介绍了线路用复合外套金属氧化物避雷器(PMOA)的工作原理和功能以及 110 k V 中悦线安装PMOA的效果 ,认为The principle and function of the polymer metal oxide arresters(PMOA) on transmission lines is introduced in the paper, lightning strikes are more on the large length of span of transmission lines. Application of polymer metal oxide arrester on the 110 kV Zhongyue transmission lines are presented. Adopting PMOA on the towers is better method for increasing reliability of transmission lines in mountain area.
