摘　　要：江垭水库是湖南省较大的一个水库。本文阐述了江垭水库的基本情况 ,通过对库区及周围的地质构造特点、地震活动以及水库诱发地震可能性的讨论 ,预测了江垭水库诱发地震的最大强度为MS=3 5± 1 0。Jiang Ya Reservoir is one of the largest reservoirs of Hunan Province. In this paper, the basic information about the reservoir is introduced. According to the geologic structure feature and the sesimicity of the reservoir and its around area, the possibility of the earthquakes induced by the reservoir is debated and the magnitude is predicted as M3 5±0 1.
