摘　　要：对 2 0 0 2年 9月 3日山西太原郝庄 ML5 .0地震的宏观烈度进行了考察 ,得出极震区烈度为 度 ,呈椭圆形 ,长轴走向北北西 ,长度 5 3km ,短轴走向为北东东 ,长度 34km ,面积 5 6 6 0 km2 的结论。分析了地震发生的构造环境 ,认为此次地震的震中位于东西、南北和北北西向三组断层的交汇部位 ,其中北北西向的东山山前断层为发震断层。A macroscopical seismic intensity survey for 2002 Haozhuang,Taiyuan of Shanxi,earthquake of M L5 0 was made. The conclusion is that the intensity in the macroscopic epicenter area of the earthquake is grade V,with a elliptic shape, which macro axis is 53 km long ,along NNW, and minor axis is 34 km long along NEE,and the area is 5 660 km 2. Based on a analysis of seismotectonic environment of earthquake occurring,it is thought that epicenter of this earthquake is located at the area where 3 faults of EW,SN and NNW directions are intercrossed, and among them, the Dongshan mountain foot fault along NNW direction is the triggering seismic fault.
