摘　　要：裘开明先生的著作《汉和图书分类法》是20世纪上半叶东西学术交融的时代背景下图书馆学学术转型的产物,曾被北美诸多东亚图书馆以及燕京大学图书馆等20余家图书馆采用,有着重要的学术和实用价值。本文分析了其产生的时代背景、承袭的分类思想、发展沿革、编纂体例、特点、不足及历史影响。参考文献27。A. Kai-ming Chiu's A classification scheme for chinese and japanese books was the result of library science transfor^nation during the first half 20th century and had been adopted by more than 20 libraries, including East Asian Libraries in north American and Yenching University Librar^^ in China. It was assumed to be of value to academics and practice. This paper analyzes its historical background, academic source, evolution,compilation style, features, deficiencies and historical influence. 27 refs.
