摘　　要：随着我国改革事业的不断推进和深化,城市安全问题日益受到社会各界的广泛关注。作为我国的经济、政治及文化中心,首都北京的警务体制、机制,以及警务工作的有效程度,历来是警学界研究的热点,也是新时期深化警务改革、全面推进北京公安工作科学建设与发展的重点研究命题之一。因此,对新中国北京警务的研究总体状况进行分析与梳理,将对今后北京警务改革具有重要的借鉴意义。在新时期,面对智慧城市警务建设的新方向,以及北京警务研究应拓展城市警务理论研究的新命题,应强化城市警务的制度设计、治理模式和战略对策研究,创建都市警务新的理论研究范式。At present, city safety has received extensive attention of the society from all walks of life. Beijing is China’s political and cultural center, thus its police system and policing mechanism and the effective degree of policing work have always been hot spots in the research of the police educational circles. On the other hand,those hot spots are also research propositions which can scientifically push the construction and development of Beijing police work. Therefore, analyzing and carding the research status of Beijing policing in new China can afford experience for the Beijing policing reform in future. Facing with the new requirements of the world city and the current Beijing police theory research, the policing system design, management mode and strategic countermeasure research should be strengthened, and the theoretical research paradigm of urban policing should be built.
