摘　　要：詹姆斯·韦尔登·约翰逊是二十世纪重要的美国非裔作家和美国文化批评家,为美国非裔文学、文化的发展作出了卓越贡献。他在文学创作与批评中对美国非裔创作有意识的艺术进行深刻思考,并且论述美国非裔的文学创作及其种族文化背景之间的联系。约翰逊肯定美国非裔的种族文化背景的独特价值。他呼吁美国非裔艺术家们将非裔的种族文化背景与艺术创作紧密结合,创造兼具艺术性和宝贵文化价值的作品。事实上,约翰逊对美国非裔有意识的艺术、美国非裔的种族文化背景的思考与阐释构成其批评思想的一个重要部分,提供了一扇研究美国非裔文学与文化的重要窗口。As a prominent African-American writer and critic of American culture,James W.Johnson has contributed to the progress of the African-American literature and culture.Johnson reflected in his literary works and criticism on the creation of the African-American conscious art,and discoursed upon the interactions between African Americans’literary writing and their racial cultural background.He affirmed the unique values of the African American’s racial background.Johnson appealed to African American artists to closely integrate their literary writing with the African American’s racial culture,and produce works both of superb artistry and high cultural value.Indeed,Johnson’s exploration and elaboration of the creation of the African American conscious art,and the African American’s racial cultural background constitutes an essential part of his critical ideology,which is a crucial channel to study the African American literature and culture.
