摘　　要：中英两国的警务制度虽然差异较大,但也有不少相似之处,尤其是在体现集权性一面的同时,又都兼有分散性特点。他山之石,可以攻玉。深入探讨和借鉴英国警务改革和保障工作的有益经验,必将对我国公安机关构建职责明确、相互制衡、高效科学的现代警务保障体系,从而不断深化公安改革产生积极的推动作用。While differences exist between Chinese and British police systems,they share much in common,especially in the field of centralization of power.The legislation and practice of British police reform and support system is enlightening in that it helps China to establish a clear,balanced,efficient and scientific police security system,which undoubtedly will promote the development of Chinese public security work.
