摘　　要：模糊性是语言的基本内在特征而模糊限制语是模糊语言学的一个重要分支。模糊限制语在政治新闻中对于表达不确定性和确保新闻的可信度起着重要的作用。由于篇幅和研究能力有限，本文只讨论变动模糊限制语。通过自建语料库，探究变动模糊限制语在政治新闻中的应用，并运用定量分析与定性分析相结合的方法，揭示了变动模糊限制语在两个语料库中用法的不同。Fuzziness is a basic and an intrinsic characteristic oflanguage and hedge is a significant branch of fuzziness.The useof hedges in political news plays an important role in denotinguncertainty so as to ensure the credibility of news.Because ofthe limitation of research ability,this thesis would discuss onlythe approximators which can be further divided into adaptors androunders.Two corpus were constructed to And taken researchmethods of both qualitative and quantitative analysis,this thesisreveals the similarities and differences of the use of hedges in twoself-constructed corpora mentioned above.
