自助借还服务模式在高校图书馆应用中的“大功”与“小过”

摘　　要：随着科学技术的高速发展,我国许多高图书馆开始应用图书自助借还系统。允许读者利用图书馆内的机器设备自行借阅或归还图书馆的文献资料称为自助借还服务模式,此模式是高校图书馆服务的发展趋势,创新了图书馆服务理念和业务管理新模式,使图书馆服务模式从传统手工服务和自动化服务向智能化服务模式演变,并强化了读者自我服务意识,大大提高了图书馆为读者服务的效率。山东农业大学图书馆自助借还服务模式的应用是基于RFID电子标签的自助借还系统,虽然它还存在着一些问题:价格昂贵、错借、漏借图书、易造成拒借率上升、图书加工成本高等,但在实际应用中已是优势明显,推动了图书馆服务层次的提升和文献管理水平的提高,也为现代高校图书馆纸质图书的管理赋予了智能化的意义。该文阐述了自助借还服务模式的应用、特点与不足,研究与分析了应用中出现的问题。With the rapid development of science technology,the self-help borrowing and returning service mode has been used by many university libraries in our country.The mode that allows readers to use the equipments in the library to borrow or return documents and books was called the self-help borrowing and returning service mode.It was considered as the trend of future innovation concept of the university library service.With this mode,the traditional manual and automated mode could be transformed to a more intelligent status with strengthened reader’s self service consciousness,and greatly improved library service efficiency.The application of self service mode of Shandong Agricultural University library was based on a whole set of RFID tagging system.Although the system still got many weak points such as high cost,wrong borrowing,miss borrowing,and reject rate,but we still enjoyed a lot of obvious advantages during the practical application process.With its help,the library service was improved and the management level of paper books and documents was promoted.It also opened the gate of intelligent for modern university library paper book and document management.In this paper,the authors described the application characteristics and shortcomings of self-help borrowing and returning service mode,studied and analyzed the problems in its application process.
