摘  要:英语阅读作为英语教学的重要组成部分,是培养学生跨文化交际能力的重要途径。在中外合作办学背景下,英语阅读可以从提高教师的跨文化交际意识、合理选择阅读教材、优化教学内容和教学方法、拓展渠道与积极开展跨文化交流活动等方面进行改善,旨在提高大学生的跨文化交际能力,增强中外文化素养,逐步提高学生的语言综合能力,最终实现人才培养的国际化。One of the most essential goals of college English teaching courses is to cultivate students’intercultural communicationcompetence.As significant components of English teaching,reading courses are important channels to nurture intercultural communication competence.Under the background of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools,English reading courses could be improved fromthe following four aspects:strengthening cross-cultural consciousness in teachers;choosing proper reading materials for students;optimizing teaching content and approaches and carrying out various cross-cultural activities in and out of class,which aim to enhance students’capacity in intercultural communication,enrich their knowledge about both Chinese and foreign cultures,upgrade their integrated language skills and eventually develop talents who are competitive in the globalized world.
