摘　　要：人工合成结晶牛胰岛素研究完成后,研究组成员、鉴定会专家和中国科学院、高等教育部的领导开始酝酿并分别提出了下一步的研究计划。"文化大革命"的爆发一度令这些计划暂缓执行,但1967年后,原定于1968年夏天召开的第二次北京科学讨论会又促使这些计划重新启动。经聂荣臻副总理指示,相关人员以毛泽东1964年8月24日晚上的谈话为依据,于1967—1968年间召开多次选题会议,先后提出了胰岛素晶体结构测定、人工合成烟草花叶病毒蛋白质亚基、人工合成酵母丙氨酸转移核糖核酸等"人工合成生命"系列课题。After the total synthesis of crystalline bovine insulin,the research team members,the experts at the appraisal meeting,and the leaders of Ministry of Higher Education and Chinese Academy of Sciences proposed some research plans.But these plans were suspended because of the broken of the Culture Revolution.A year later,the second Beijing science seminar was scheduled to be held in the summer of1968.It prompted these plans to start again.According to vice Premier Nie Rongzhen’s instructions and the August24,1964night talks of Mao Zedong,the relevant personnel held a series of conferences in1967-1968,and proposed series projects about artificial synthetic life,such as the determination of crystal structure of insulin,the synthesis of tobacco mosaic virus protein subunit,the synthesis of yeast alanine tRNA.
