摘　　要：外语能力是顺利推进“一带一路”建设的重要保障。本文通过梳理“一带一路”背景下国家外语能力建设面临的战略转型任务,思考当前英语专业面临的挑战与机遇,进而探讨以英语为目标的外语能力建设策略。Abstract:Foreign language competence is of great importance for the successful implementation of“Belt and Road”initiative.After an investigation into the strategic transformational tasks in the construction of foreign language competency in China,this paper looks into the challenges and opportunities for the Major of English,and concludes by proposing some suggestions for the construction of foreign language competency in English.
