摘  要:Sperber和Wilson提出关联理论后,这个理论就被应用于解释和解决各个领域中的现象和问题,语言学家们也用它来解释各种语言现象,但是在英语教学中,这一理论的应用还非常不够。在大学英语教学中,阅读教学是很重要的一部分,它是英语学习的基础,在各种英语水平能力测试中分值也非常高。阅读是一种明示推理活动,是作者和读者之间的互明行为。从关联理论的角度为阅读理解的学习和教学提出了一个新观点,既指出了现有的问题,又举例说明了如何把该理论应用到阅读理解中。Since RT proposed by Sperber and Wilson,this theory is used to explain a variety of phenomena and solve a lot of problems existing in our social life.Linguists and scholars also employ it to explain all sorts of linguistic phenomena,but few people focus on the instruction of RT to the reading comprehension.in English teaching activity.Reading comprehension occupies a very important position in college English teaching and is the basis of English learning.Reading is an ostensive-inference process and is an act of mutual understanding between the author and the reader.In this paper,a new view on learning and teaching of reading comprehension was proposed from Relevance Theory.
