劳伦斯略写父亲角色的原因探究

摘　　要：结合劳伦斯的生平,从女性主义视角来分析《木马赌徒》作者略写父亲角色的原因。劳伦斯一方面倾向于突出母亲在悲剧中的决定性作用并淡化父亲的责任,同时批判"女强男弱"的社会现象对孩子和家庭的负面作用;另一方面则通过略写的手法反映并批判父亲缺席家庭生活的异常现象并唤起社会的关注。From the feministic perspective,together with a study of the life experience of D.H.Lawrence,this article analyses the underlying reasons for the almost absent father character in The Rocking Horse Winner.For one thing,D.H.Lawrence possibly hopes to highlight the decisive role of the mother in the tragedy and downplays the father s responsibility and criticize the negative role of phenomenon of“women dominating men”on the children and the family.For another,he wants to use the brief descriptions of the father to reflect and criticize the abnormal phenomenon of“absent father”in the family,and draw the social concern.
