城市规模、创业边界与企业家创业

摘　　要：大城市更有活力且更年轻化的人口结构,导致大城市的消费者异质性偏好更强,进而可能推动企业家创业边界的降低与城市创业活动的发展。为了识别这一理论机制,本文在Zhelobodko et al.(2012)的分析框架上,通过引入城市规模和消费者异质性偏好假设,构建了一个异质性企业家区位选择与创业的空间经济学模型,考察城市规模通过企业家创业边界对城市创业活动的影响,并基于2000-2016年204个城市的面板数据以及2008年中国经济普查数据进行了实证检验。研究发现:(1)企业家才能越高的企业,相应的产品定价会越低,产品需求量越大,而利润越高;(2)企业家创业边界除了受到城市规模的影响以外,还会受到消费者多样性偏好的影响;(3)消费者多样化偏好更强的城市,城市的创业门槛更低,城市的创业活跃度更高。The more energetic and younger population structure will lead to a stronger heterogeneity of consumer preference in big cities,which can promote the entrepreneurial lower threshold of start-up firms and the development of entrepreneurial activity.In order to identify the theoretical mechanism,based on the framework of Zhelobodko et al.(2012)and by introducing the hypothesis of city scale and heterogeneity of consumer preference,this article established a heterogeneous spatial econometric model of location selection and entrepreneurship,and analyzed how the city scale affects the entrepreneurial activity through the mechanism of threshold of start-up firms.And based on the panel data containing 204 cities in 2000-2016 as well as China economic census data in 2008,the article also conducted an empirical test.The study found that:(1)the firm with higher entrepreneur makes a lower price of the product,and faces a higher demand of the product,and also has a higher profit;(2)in addition to the influence of urban scale,the threshold of entrepreneurs was also affected by the diversity of consumers'preference;(3)the cities with more diversified consumer preferences have lower threshold of entrepreneurship and higher intensity of entrepreneurial activity.
