摘　　要：体育赛事的蓬勃发展是我国城市发展的重要社会文化体现。本文运用文献资料法、访谈法、实地调查法,以广西柳州水上狂欢节为研究个案,对体育赛事在城市发展中的社会文化竞争力影响进行探究,研究表明,体育赛事对广西社会文化竞争力的影响主要表现在城市的形象、社会服务以及物质文化和精神文化等方面。本文研究旨在为广西体育赛事的可持续发展提供一定的借鉴。The vigorous development of sport events is an important social and cultural embodiment of urban development in China.By using the literature material method,interview method,and field survey method,taking Guangxi Liuzhou water carnival as the study case,this paper explores the social and culture competitiveness of sports events in the city development.Research shows that sports event's influence on the social and cultural competitiveness of Guangxi is shown from city image,social service,material culture and spiritual culture,etc.The purpose of this study is the offer references for the sustainable development of sport events in Guangxi.
