制度压力下的企业研发投入与社会责任——基于中国私营企业调查数据的实证研究

摘　　要：本研究基于企业资源基础观和新制度主义理论,把研发投入看作是促进企业履行社会责任的重要资源,在研究分析两者关系的同时,论证条件变量的可能及其作用。对第九次全国私营企业家调查数据进行分析研究后发现:企业研发投入显著影响社会责任行为,有研发投入的企业比没有研发投入的企业履行的社会责任更多;党组织、工会以及行业协会成员身份是代表制度压力传递渠道的三个特征变量,研究发现此三变量在研发投入和社会责任的影响关系中起了显著调节作用;通过最近邻匹配法、半径匹配法和核匹配法的倾向值匹配分析发现,传统OLS回归分析低估了研发投入对企业社会责任的影响作用。本研究对于企业增加环境导向、社会利好型的研发投入以更好地履行社会责任,积极建设党组织、工会、行业协会等内外部组织以顺畅正式非正式制度压力调节提供理论支持。Investigating The Ninth Chinese Private Entrepreneur Survey database,we found that:R&D investment has a significant positive impact on social responsibility behavior,the corporates with R&D investment have more motivation to fulfill social responsibility than the one with non-R&D investment;party organizations,labor unions and membership of industry associations is the three characteristic variables of institutional pressure.It is found that institutional pressure plays a significant role in the influence of R&D investment and social responsibility.By the method of nearest neighbors matching,radius matching and kernel matching,we found that the traditional OLS regression underestimated the impact of R&D investment on corporate social responsibilities.This study provides theoretical support for encouraging enterprises to increase environment-friendly and social-oriented R&D investment to fulfill social responsibilities better.
