摘　　要：电子节目指南EPG是指在符合MPEG-2的TS传输流中插入DVB标准定义的业务信息SI,使机顶盒可以从接收的TS流中正确解析这些信息,提取出节目提供商播出节目的列表和播出参数,以直观的形式显示给数字电视用户,使得用户可以方便地接收、选择数字电视节目。本文主要阐述了EPG的信息构成、功能、处理流程、应用解决方案等。electronic program guide(EPG)refers to the addition of service information(SI)defined by DVB standard,into transport stream which accords with MPEG-2 standard,so the set-top box can correctly analyze the information from the received TS,and extract the program list and the broadcast parameters provided by the program providers in the form of visual display for digital TV users,so that users can easily receive and choose digital TV programs.This article mainly expounds the information composition,function,processing flow and application solution of EPG.
