The urban green soil is an important ecological barrier to protect the urban environment, and it plays an important role in the urban ecosystem service function and the improvement of the environment.Compared with the natural soil, the soil properties of urban green soil had changed remarkably. The urbanization process not only changed the physical and chemical properties of urban green space soil, but also had a profound impact on the biological properties and soil carbon pool. However, the spatial variability of these impacts in urban areas varied with functional areas and land use types. In this paper, the research status of soil quality in urban green space is reviewed in recent years, and discussed mainly from the physicochemical properties and biological properties of the urban green soil. And the prospect for future study on soil quality of urban green space was put forward,in order to provide a theoretical reference for landscape planning of urban green space system and improvement of soil environmental quality.
