摘 要:目前军用领域电光调Q开关的工作频率基本在30 Hz以下,为满足军用领域对更高重复频率脉冲激光的需求,研究并获得了可工作在50 Hz重复频率下的铌酸锂电光调Q开关。基于折射率椭球理论,通过分析铌酸锂晶体预偏置电光调Q的原理,选取了合适的预偏置角度。在闪光灯泵浦Ce∶Nd∶YAG激光系统中,通过合理设计谐振腔参数以及激光晶体的参数,采用预偏置加压式电光调Q方式,实现了频率为50 Hz,脉宽约为6 ns,能量不小于93m J的1.06μm激光输出,峰值功率达到了约15 MW。试验证明铌酸锂晶体用作电光调Q开关在中小功率和中低频率1.06μm激光上有很好的应用前景。To meet the demand for pulsed laser with higher repetition rate in military field,a LiNb03(lithium niobate,LN)electro-optic(EO)Q-switch which can operate at a higher repetition rate was researched and obtained.Based on the theory of refractive indices ellipsoid,the principle of LN pre-bias EO Q-switching was analyzed,and a suitable pre-bias angle was determined.The experiments were conducted in a Ce-Nd-YAG laser pumped by a flash lamp,the resonator parameter and laser crystal parameter were designed rationally.With the pre-bias EO Q-switching operating mode,a pulse laser at 1.06 jjim with a repetition rate of 50 Hz and a pulse width of 6 ns was achieved.The energy is not less than 93 mj,and the peak power is exceed 15 MW.The experiments demonstrate that LN EO Q-switch has a good application prospect on 1.06 jjim laser with small and medium power and repetition rate.
