摘　　要：施托伊茨(F.Steurs)教授是国际标准化组织术语委员会(ISO/TC 37)佛兰德斯语和荷兰语术语工作的负责人,肖伯乐(G.Sauberer)教授是国际术语网(Term Net)的主任。她们在2016年合作了这篇国际会议论文,指出术语管理直接影响产品和服务的可靠性,在工业和工程中与安全防护密切相关。Prof.Frieda Steurs,head of the ISO/TC 37 standardization committee for Flanders,and Prof.Gabriele Sauberer,director of TermNet of Netherlands,co-wrote a conference paper in 2016.This article here aims to introduce the main ideas in the above-mentioned paper co-authored by the two respectable professors,i.e.terminology management can have an important impact on the safety and security issues in industry and engineering environments,as a consequence on the liabilities of products and services.And key aspects are terminology management,quality assurance in technical documentation,standards and training and qualification of professionals.Whenever an organization tackles one or two or all three of these aspects,it would have an impact on the other aspects or the entire quality system.
