摘　　要：伦理学语境中,父亲角色的缺失会阻碍父子伦理观念的形成。《向苍天呼吁》展现了三个儿子因父亲角色的缺失成为牺牲品的命运。奴隶制让黑人自我认知和社会认可双重沦陷,阻碍了黑人男性角色的正常建构,黑人男性"父亲"角色的土壤和空间被挤占破坏,黑人家庭精神与价值的传承被残酷阻断,进而导致了黑人家庭一系列的悲剧。儿子对父亲的态度,也映射出一代非裔对宗教游离、叛逆、重塑的轨迹,为新生代探寻出一条在宗教博爱思想中汲取力量的出路。Under family ethics,the absence of the father role in children5s development will damage the for^ning of normal ethics.James Baldwdn show-s us in Go Tell It on the Mountain the fate of the three sons who have become victims because of the absence of the father role.Slavery system,which has collapsed the social and self identity of the black,is regarded as the root cause of a series of tragedies in black family because the male roles and fatherhood haven't been fully developed while the family traditions and values of the black family have been completely disinherited.The change of the sons’attitude tow-ards their fathers can partly reflect the change of African Americans'attitude tow-ards the Christianity from w-hich the new generation can gain pow-er.
