李白郎陵学禅考  

On Li Bai's Learning of Zen at Langling

摘　　要：李白在《赠僧崖公》诗中叙述自己曾在郎陵东学禅于白眉空。郎陵即唐时朗山县,隶属蔡州(治所在今河南汝南县),宋大中祥符五年(1012年)改为确山县,沿用至今。郎陵故城在确山县城南三十五里处。据诗中所描述的方位和情景,李白在郎陵东三宗寺学禅的可能性最大,学禅时间当是在李白"酒隐安陆"的十年之内,最为可能是在开元十六年春至十七年春(728—729年)这一年左右的时间内。李白通过修禅,减轻了身心压力,取得了"独朗谢垢氛"的效果。Li Bai recounted his experience of learning Zen from White Brow Kong to the east of Langling in his poem“To Buddhist Yagong”.In the Tang Dynasty,Langling was called Langshan County,a part of Cai Perfecture(the then capital is in today’s Runan County,Henan Province),but it was renamed Queshan County in 1012 in the Song Dynasty and kept its name up till now.The old city of Langling is located at 35 kilometers to the south of Queshan City.According to the location and description in the poem,it is very likely that Li Bai learned Zen at the Sanzong Temple to the east of Langling during the 10 years when he retired to Anlu,between 728 and 729 in particular.Li’s experience of learn Zen relieved him body and soul,as he wrote in the poem“as clear as the clear sky”.
