摘　　要：芜湖中国银行建筑是安徽近代为数不多的商业办公建筑和极少数由中国现代建筑师设计的建筑,其建筑师为柳士英,该建筑在芜湖城市建筑遗产中具有重要地位。通过近代芜湖中国银行建筑风格分析,探讨本土建筑师的建筑理想、设计理念,试图勾勒中西方文化交融背景下安徽近代银行建筑的特征及其从中折射出的社会文化背景。Wuhu Bank of China,designed by the architect Liu Shiying,is one of the existing few commercial office buildings that was designed by a modern Chinese architect in Modern Times,which has occupied an important position in the civil architectural heritage.Through the analysis on the architectural style of Wuhu Bank of China,the design idea of local architects in modern times will be discussed,and the features of modern bank buildings and the social cultural background that reflected in it will be demonstrated in the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures.
