摘 要:称谓是言语交际中一种重要的语言现象,具有引起注意、挑选听话人、建立社会关系的语用功能。本文主要在语用学的框架下,结合社会认知理论,探讨汉语称谓的结构和系统、称谓的认知语用特征及其使用的认知语用原则。研究发现,称谓具有时代性、民族性、情感性等认知语用特征;称谓的使用需遵循得体原则,这也是言语交际的最高原则。Vocatives or address terms are an important linguistic phenomenon in verbal communication,which has the pragmatic functions of appealing for attention,singling out the addressee,and establishing and/or maintaining a social relationship.This paper,within the framework of pragmatics,connecting with the theory of social cognition,explored the system,cognitive-pragmatic properties,and cognitive-pragmatic principle of the Chinese address terms.The study found that vocatives have such cognitive-pragmatic properties as contemporariness,nationality,and emotionality,and their usage must observe the Principle of Tact,which is the highest-level principle of verbal communication as well.
