摘　　要：非洲地区的孔子学院建设在服务中国国家战略、促进中非语言文化交流和发展语言文化外交方面具有特殊意义。从汉语学习者数量的增加、肯尼亚语言教育政策的变化和当地大学生对汉语、中国人和中国文化态度等方面来看,孔子学院的语言文化传播对于提升非洲人对中国整体形象的认知起到了正面的促进作用。与此同时,非洲孔子学院也面临规模高速增长与稳定教育资源供给不足的矛盾,以及缺乏现代文化产业支撑等诸多问题。据此,中国政府相关部门需加强孔子学院语言教学与文化传播的有机结合,积极扶持发展创意文化产业;在语言文化传播的目标和方式上,则需实现从重数量到重质量的转型,且通过加强非洲研究,夯实孔子学院语言文化传播效果的基础。Confucius Institutes in African countries are highly valued by the means of their specific contributions to China’s national strategy as well as to enhancing the language and cultural exchange between China and African countriesThis article demonstrates the achievement of the Confucius Institutes through three dimensions:the increasing members of Chinese language learners,the changes in education language policy in Kenya,and positive images and attitudes towards Chinese language,Chinese people and Chinese cultureMeanwhile,Confucius Institutes in African countries are also facing challenges:their quick expansion requires more stable supply of education resources,and modern cultural industry should provide more ideas and methods for cultural communicationTherefore,it is necessary to strengthen the cultural communication in language teaching,to emphasize more on quality rather than on quantity of teaching,as well as to promote the innovation of modern cultural industry and transform the research orientations from general frames to indigenization,which requires more research on the details of African social structure and cultural backgrounds.
