To study the variations of the range of motion of astronauts when wearing gloves(EVA),different glove charging conditions were applied in the low pressure cabin and a camera was used to extract images of 12 hand joint settings in 4 conditions. The angle of the specific joint was determined through the marker points and the angle values were measured. In the end,the data was analyzed by ANOVA.The results showed that as the pressure increased, the effect of pressure on the range of motion(ROM)became more significant.Wearing a pressure glove had little influence on the ROM of knuckle flexion, but significant influence on the ROM of the proximal interphalangeal joint and wrist. The inhibition effect of pressure on the glove were different in different regions. In the ergonomic design of the future EVA gloves, more consideration should be given to the mobility of joints other than the metacarpophalangeal joint.
