One of the preconditions and important contents of animal ecology research is the identification and classification of behavior.Differentiating and understanding of animal activities, rest, feeding, marking and other behaviors can more systematically understand their ecological functions.Tupaia belangeri are biological mammals that are closer to human than primates other than primates. Therefore, they are widely used in recent years as new experimental animals in the field of biology and medicine. In this study,we conducted a survey on the kinship of tree shrews,The results showed that sniffing urine, feces and pudendal behavior of tree shrews may indicate that the inclusion of related pheromone components in urine, feces and pudendal glands affects their relative behavior;also found there are occur“stretch”behavior in Tupaia belangeri, from the behavioral ecology point of view to support the hypothesis that Tupaia belangeri are relatives of the primate.
