Objective To explore the difference and correlation of artery blood and venous blood for the measurement of electrolytes(K+,Na+,Cl-,Ca 2+),blood glucose(GLU),hemoglobin(Hb),hematocrit(Hct)to provide evidence for clinical rapid diagnosis and treatment. Methods Artery blood and venous blood were collected from 382 inpatients in the hospital of PLA,for detecting K+,Na+,Cl-,Ca 2+,GLU,Hb,Hct by the portable arterial blood gas analyzer and the automatic biochemical analyzer. The data were analyzed by SPSS17.0.Results There was a significant difference in K+,Na+,Ca 2+,Hb,Hct detected by arterial blood and venous blood(r=0.746,0.819,0.600,0.746,0.737,P<0.05).The difference was not statistically significant between them in Cl-,GLU(r=0.848,0.891,P>0.05).Conclusion There are some differences between artery blood and venous blood of K+,Na+、Cl-,Ca 2+,GLU,Hb,Hct Hct,In emergency, they can be used as a reference,it still need further conventional biochemical determination and blood routine examination.
