游荡者视角下《毛猿》中扬克的形象特征

摘　　要：美国剧作家尤金·奥尼尔创作的《毛猿》讲述了工业文明背景下一个粗暴的司炉工扬克寻求归宿感而不得却惨死于毛猿之手的故事。本文拟从游荡者的视角来分析《毛猿》中主人公扬克为代表的工人的自动化、无意识和经验缺失的形象特征。从而加深对于工人这一现代游荡者形象的理解,促进对于现代性主题下工人生存境遇的思考。The Hairy Ape which was created by American dramatist Eugene O’neill told the story of a booris hstoker laborer Yank who failed to find the sense of belonging and died in the claws of the hairy ape under the background of industrial civilization.This paper intends to analyze the characteristics of the workers represented by the protagonist Yank in the Hairy Ape from the perspective of Flaneur,they are automation,unconsciousness and lack of experience.In this way,it can deepen our comprehension of the image of workers as a modern Flaneur and promote our reflection on the living conditions of workers under the topical subject of modernity.
