解构中英饮食习语的语言功能

摘　　要：本文通过皮特·纽马克提出的语言功能理论对中英饮食习语的语言功能进行详细解构,指出该类习语一般具备信息功能、表情功能和美学功能。并从这3个语言功能对饮食习语进行深刻剖析,帮助英汉跨文化交际者在交际中正确理解形象生动的饮食语言,促进跨文化交际顺利进行。This thesis detailedly deconstructs the linguistic functions of dietary idioms under Peter Newmark’s Linguistic Functions,pointing out that these idioms share three linguistic functions in general:informative function,expressive function and aesthetic function.This thesis analyzes the three linguistic functions deeply so as to improve the effective cross-cultural communication through assisting Chinese and English communicators to understand these vivid dietary idioms profoundly and to adopt them correctly.
