英汉不礼貌交际的多模态话语分析——以职场真人秀《赢在中国》与《名人学徒》为例

摘　　要：为了探究英汉不礼貌交际的异同,基于英国学者Culpeper的不礼貌回应策略框架,采取定量研究和质性研究相结合的方式,以职场真人秀《赢在中国》与《名人学徒》视频资料为研究对象,就平等关系下英汉不礼貌交际展开多模态对比研究。分析表明,英汉不礼貌交际均呈现出动态的发展过程,二者既有相似性又存在差异性,其相似性验证了Culpeper不礼貌理论对英汉不礼貌交际研究的适用性与解释力,以及副语言对不礼貌表达效果的重要影响。In order to explore the similarities and differences of English and Chinese impoliteness,this paper makes multimodal discourse analysis on it by combining quantitative and qualitative research and taking the reality shows Win in China and Celebrity Apprentice as samples,based on Culpeper′s model of the response strategies to impoliteness.The study shows that both English and Chinese impoliteness are a dynamic developing process,and there exist some certain similarities and differences between them.The similarities verify that Culpeper′s impoliteness theory can be applied to studying English and Chinese impoliteness and accounting for it;in addition,paralanguage plays a significant role in the effect of impoliteness.
